Redefining Life through Sustainable Energy & Mobility.

Nigeria's foremost integrated clean energy and e-mobility conglomerate — operating across six states since 2018.

Phoenix Renewable Group team

Nigeria's Pioneer in the Circular Energy Economy

Phoenix Renewable Group is an integrated clean energy and e-mobility conglomerate operating across six northern Nigerian states. From utility-scale solar farms to electric tricycles and battery swap stations, we control the entire clean energy value chain — from generation to final-mile transport.

Our singular mission is to catalyse Nigeria's transition toward a net-zero future through a closed-loop Circular Energy Economy — where clean electrons power homes, businesses, and transport fleets, and value flows back through every stage of the chain.

Engr. Sadiq Abubakar

Group Chief Executive Officer / Chairman

Phoenix Renewable Group

Engr. Sadiq is the driving force behind Phoenix Renewable Group's transformation from a regional solar installer into Nigeria's foremost integrated clean energy and e-mobility conglomerate. His singular mission: to catalyse Nigeria's transition toward a net-zero future through a circular energy economy.

Under his leadership, the Group has deployed over 1.1 MWp of solar capacity, placed over 1,000 electric vehicles across six northern states, and forged strategic partnerships with Federal and State Government agencies. He serves on advisory platforms shaping the National Energy Transition Plan and the Electric Vehicle Green Mobility Bill.

"The energy transition in Nigeria is no longer a question of if, but how fast. We are not just participating — we are leading."

Built on Purpose.
Driven by Impact.

Culture is not a poster on the wall — it is the way we work, decide, and grow.

The Triple Bottom Line — People, Planet, Profit

We measure success by more than revenue. Every project must deliver social impact — jobs created, women and youth empowered, communities strengthened; environmental preservation — carbon avoided, fossil fuel displacement; and financial profitability — sustainable returns that fuel long-term growth.

No trade-offs. Only integration.

The Phoenix Gold Standard

Excellence is not optional. Whether it is a solar home system installation, a battery swap station, or a retrofitted tricycle, we adhere to unified quality and safety protocols across all subsidiaries.

  • SONCAP, NERC, NEMSA & SERC-compliant hardware
  • IoT-enabled telematics for real-time monitoring
  • Industry-leading warranties & after-sales support
  • Continuous training & certification for technical teams

Cross-Subsidiary Synergy — One Phoenix

We do not operate as five separate companies. We operate as one ecosystem. Our culture actively rewards collaboration across subsidiaries without internal competition.

"What keeps us ahead is that our solar team talks to our EV team — every day."

Empowerment, Not Hierarchy

We lead with trust and accountability. Directors and Managers own their P&L. Technicians on the ground are empowered to make decisions. Our drivers and swap station operators are treated as partners, not just employees.

"The best ideas come from the front lines — whether it is a rider in Maiduguri or a field engineer in Port Harcourt."
